Great Nokia Lumia mobile tips and tricks...!!!!

I hope all fine. Nokia recently launch Lumia series with big blast to competit  Samsung and other mobile companies.

As here I want to aware you some nice tips to use Nokia Lumia effectively.So this post is regarding Great Nokia Lumia tips and tricks...!!!!

              

List of tips:- 

=>  If your battery is empty and the phone doesn’t restart promptly, connecting it to your PC via USB sometimes wakes it up faster than using the normal charge.
 

=> Holding the camera key will open the camera, even if the screen is locked.
 

=> You can turn the autocorrection off by going to Settings > Keyboard, click “Typing settings”, then tap on “press to change” at the top of the screen. In the new window that opens, remove the tick from “Correct misspelt words”.
 

=> To get a scientific calculator just open the calculator app & rotate the phone to landscape mode and you’ll get a scientific calculator.
 

=> You can add additional keyboard layouts for different languages by going to Settings > Keyboard and afterwards you then see a language selection button next to the space bar whenever you are using the keypad.
 

=> If your battery starts draining faster than usual you may want to check the “find my phone” options in the settings menu. Ensure that the top option is not ticked as it draws considerably more power. The “find my phone” service will still work even if both boxes are unticked.
 

=> You don’t need an extra app to create a “to do” or “shopping” list. You can easily use the preinstalled Office app instead. Open Office, go to “notes” and then add a new note by pressing the + sign. Label them accordingly and pin them to your homescreen.
 

=> If you know a newer version of an app is available but it isn’t showing as an update yet, you can force the update (if it is available in your country). Find the app in the marketplace, press the share button then press the back key and the update button will appear.
 

=> If you are in meeting then Pressing the volume key when the phone is ringing will silence the call without rejecting it.
 

=> If you are having issues connecting to the internet using mobile data or problems with MMS installing (and running), Nokia’s network setup app from the marketplace (via the Nokia collection section) may help.

TIPS & SECRET CODES FOR NOKIA MOBILE PHONE

Hi All,
Nokia is a leading mobile selling company in India. Its mobile have very nice feature which are used by every person.
But some user might not know the secret codes of Nokia mobile.
So here i am providing you list of secret NOKIA codes.


Note:-Some code might be risky it can damage your phone so try it own risk we are not resposible for any kind of damage.


               

1. *#06# for checking the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity).

2. *#7780# reset to factory settings.   

3. *#67705646# This will clear the LCD display(operator logo).


4. *#0000# To view software version.
                                                                                                 
5. *#2820# Bluetooth device address.


6. *#746025625# Sim clock allowed status.


7.  #pw+1234567890+1# Shows if sim have restrictions.


8. *#92702689# - takes you to a secret menu where you may find some of the information below:


     Displays Serial Number.
     Displays the Month and Year of Manufacture
     Displays (if there) the date where the phone was purchased (MMYY)
     Displays the date of the last repair - if found (0000)


 Shows life timer of phone (time passes since last start)


9. *#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain faster though.


10. *#3370* - (EFR) deactivation. Phone will automatically restart. Increase battery life by 30% because phone receives less signal from network.


11.*#4720# - Half Rate Codec activation.


12. *#4720* - Half Rate Codec deactivation. The phone will automatically restart
If you forgot wallet code for Nokia S60 phone, use this code reset: *#7370925538#
Note, your data in the wallet will be erased. Phone will ask you the lock code. Default lock code is: 12345
Press *#3925538# to delete the contents and code of wallet.


13. Unlock service provider: Insert sim, turn phone on and press vol up(arrow keys) for 3 seconds, should say pin code. Press C,then press * message should flash, press * again and 04*pin*pin*pin# \


14. *#7328748263373738# resets security code.


15. Default security code is 12345


16. Change closed caller group (settings >security settings>user groups) to 00000 and ure phone will sound the message tone when you are near a radar speed trap. Setting it to 500 will cause your phone 2 set off security alarms at shop exits, gr8 for practical jokes! (works with some of the Nokia phones.) Press and hold "0" on the main screen to open wap browser.

Nokia & Samsung Mobile as a Modem for PC or Laptop

Hi All,

I have used both Nokia & samsung mobile to connect it as a MODEM to use internet surfing on Laptop.I faced that it is easy to connect Nokia mobile with Laptop but in case of samsung its little headache to connect with PC. So i am providing helpful tips to connect it easily.

Use Samsung Mobile as MODEM:-

  

1. As with PC suite (Samsung Kies) you might not connect to internet for some new GSM service provider like Uninor,Videocon GSM.
2. First download ICM(Internet Connection Manager) for your samsung mobile Model on samsung mobile website.
3. For example if your Mobile model is Wave 525 then Click here to where you can download ICM for Wave 525.
4. After Download install it to your PC & then open it.
5. It will show you to select your Mobile operator from list, As it contains all the Mobile Operator list.
6. Just fill your Mobile operator APN and done..!!
7. Enjoy surfing with Samsung mobile as modem.

Nokia Mobile as Modem:- 

1. Connect Your Nokia Mobile using Data cable or Bluetooth to your PC.
2. Install PC suite software for your mobile model i.e. if you have Nokia N73 the download PC suite Click here.
3. Now install it in ur PC and open it
4. Follow the simple instruction to work N73 as a modem then provide your Mobile operator APN then connect & Enjoy Surfing on ur PC or Laptop.
